The Marshall's success story first took root well over 50 years ago. In 1952 a young time served joiner by the name of Charles J. Marshall had a burning desire to be master of his own destiny. Armed with a stubborn determination and a huge work ethic he set about fulfilling his ambition to become Scotland's largest trailer manufacturer.
During the intervening years, the road has not always been easy but we have always remained true to our manufacturing origins. Our expertise and commitment to produce the best value machinery on the market remains the bedrock of this family run business. We continue to place the same importance on our innovative designs, prompt delivery schedules and competitive prices today, as we always have. Although our premises may have changed from a small back garden outlet to a factory which now covers over 100,000 square feet, we still pride ourselves on delivering a top notch service. We use the latest high tech machines from automatic saws, computer controlled presses and even a robot or two to produce our extensive range. But perhaps the most important ingredient in our operation is our loyal, dedicated staffs that produce our award winning range to this day. 
To ensure the continuation of the Marshall brand, Charles R. Marshall joined the business upon leaving school in 1980. He commenced his apprenticeship on the shop floor which ensured a solid and sound understanding of all production methods. During this period of steady growth, modernisation and expansion of the existing range continued with the addition of the Marshall tanker. By 1988 Charles took up his current position as Managing Director allowing him to place his individual stamp on what continues to be a flourishing, vibrant company.
With any success story a firm eye must be kept on the future and at Marshall this is no exception. Both Charles (the 3rd) and David are showing a keen interest towards joining this highly respected family business when the time is right!!. Hopefully they can continue the Marshall legacy for many years to come.
